LameenTrack helps schools run bus routes with live location, attendance, and alerts. This page explains what we collect, why, and how schools and families stay in control. It is a product summary, not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed policy in your jurisdiction.
Who this covers
School admins, drivers, assistants, parents/guardians, and students who use LameenTrack apps or the admin website under a school account.
What we collect
- Account details: name, role, phone, email, school membership
- Transport data: routes, stops, attendance, trip events, incident reports
- Live location while a trip is active (bus / device used for the run)
- Device signals needed for secure sign-in and push notifications
- Billing details needed to create and manage a school subscription (processed by our payment partner)
Why we collect it
To run the service: show the same live ride to the right people, send pickup and drop-off alerts, keep attendance accurate offline and online, let schools manage their fleet, and bill the school that subscribed.
Who can see what
Access is role-scoped. Families see their children. Crews see the trip roster they are running. School admins see their school. We do not sell student data.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects the payment details needed to charge the school and handle taxes. See Paddle’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.
Retention and deletion
Operational trip and attendance records are kept as long as the school needs them for the service and its own policies. When a school ends the contract or requests deletion, we remove or anonymize account data according to that process.
